I started Vital Life CPR & Medical Training because I know what it feels like to sit in an EMS classroom and feel completely lost — and I know what it takes to turn that around. After more than a decade working as a paramedic in the field, I made it my mission to give every EMS student the personalized support I wish I'd had.

My Story
From the Streets to the Classroom
I became a paramedic because I wanted to help people on the worst days of their lives. What I didn't expect was how much I would love teaching others to do the same. After years of responding to cardiac arrests, traumas, pediatric emergencies, and everything in between, I realized that the knowledge I'd built in the field was exactly what EMS students needed — and weren't always getting in the classroom.
I started tutoring students one-on-one, and the results were immediate. Students who had failed the NREMT multiple times were passing. Students who were ready to quit found their confidence again. That's when I knew Vital Life had to be more than a side project — it had to be a full mission.
Today, Vital Life offers personalized EMS tutoring, instructor-developed study materials, CPR and advanced certification courses, and the Miss Nikki & The Magic Ambulance animated series — all built around one belief: every student who wants to serve their community deserves the support to get there.
When I'm not tutoring or teaching certification courses, I'm developing new curriculum, creating free resources for the Learning Center, and working on the next episode of Miss Nikki. This work is personal — and I bring that energy to every single student I work with.
